Taiwan is the best one in producing oolong tea because of its subtropical climate that helps them to grow fine oolong tea. Moreover, they have developed their technology of tea processing as they only pick bud with two top leaves. This time I happen to taste one of Taiwanese oolong tea product I found online. This is one of Jhihuo Oolong Flower Tea Series that 3:15 PM, a brand of Shih Chen Foods Co., Ltd, introduced with other variants, lavender and mint.
So I wonder how does it taste like when oolong meets rose. As I opened the package, there were six pyramid teabags with rose petals inside it. I steeped it for about three minutes and the colors came out beautifully.
It was light gold color. The calming elegant rose aroma was really nice. It’s a delicate fragrance you always want to savor for every sip of it. The light taste was also good, it has subtle floral taste. I haven’t tried it with sugar or milk, but I guess it’s the best one to drink it plain ❤
